About the Job
Full-Stack Software Engineer (AI + Healthcare)

Location: New York City (Flatiron) – 5 Days Onsite
Compensation: $150K–$230K Base + Equity

We're partnering with a fast-growing healthcare AI company that is transforming how patients and providers communicate.

Today, clinics miss up to 40% of incoming patient calls while administrative teams are overwhelmed with scheduling, billing, prescription refills, and follow-up requests. This team is building AI agents that don't just answer calls—they complete entire workflows end-to-end.

Already trusted by healthcare providers, health systems, and a multi-billion-dollar health insurer, the platform has processed hundreds of thousands of patient interactions and is scaling rapidly following a recent funding round.

What You'll Do:
  • Build and ship production-grade full-stack features used by real healthcare organizations.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows that automate patient communication.
  • Integrate with EHRs, healthcare platforms, and real-time voice systems.
  • Work directly with product and design teams to turn customer problems into software.
  • Improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.

What We're Looking For:
  • 2–6 years of software engineering experience.
  • Experience shipping production software from 0-to-1.
  • Strong full-stack development skills.
  • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and PostgreSQL.
  • Exposure to LLMs, AI applications, or voice technologies.
  • Strong product intuition and attention to user experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Bonus Points For:
  • Experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Founding or early engineering experience.
  • Healthcare technology experience.
  • Side projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, or other strong signals of excellence.

Why Join?
  • Build technology that directly impacts patient care.
  • Work alongside experienced founders with backgrounds in healthcare, AI, and scaled technology companies.
  • Significant ownership and influence on product direction.
  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity.
  • Opportunity to help define the future of AI-powered healthcare communication.

If you're excited about building products at startup speed and want your work to have a measurable impact on healthcare, we'd love to connect.
